About

An app for users of electric cars that can easily communicate with each other for when their car needs to be charged while a charging station is unnecessarily occupied.

Show the users the positions and status of all charge stations around the city and give them a real-time insight about the battery level of the cars who are connected on the station.

Functional needs / User goals

A driver needs to send a message to the owner of the car that stands on the charging station.

When the car is fully charged the station needs to send a message to the owner of the car that his car is fully charged.

The user have to see an overview/map of the charging stations and the status of these stations.

A driver needs to see what time the connected car needs to get fully charged.

The owner of the fully charged car needs to receive a message when somebody wants to use the charging spot he’s connecting with.

The person who has a fully charged car need to be able to confirm the request to swap.

Seductive principles

Limited Duration

Don’t let the request take too long and earn stars by responding within a specified time.

Duration Effects

Let the person know how long it will take for the transaction to take place so that the user has no uncertainty about the waiting time.

Feedback Loops

By providing a real-time overview of the charging stations it’s easier for the user to find a charging station.

Need for Certainly

Provide users with information about the charging stations to know if it is in use or to see if a paired car is unnecessarily paired.

Commitment & Consistency

By exchanging your car from a charging spot on request, you also motivate others to exchange their car from the charging spot for someone who needs is
more.

Achievements

Challenge the user using gamification. This ensures that the user remains motivated.
